Mat. 6:12. 14-15, 9:10-13; Col. 2:14-15

Forgiveness is a journey. Much like pealing an onion, one often tearful and painful layer at a time. This message can be seen as perhaps the second layer to this process called forgiveness.

I begin with telling the Corrie ten Boom story of forgiveness. Quite a moving story but what we don't see is the painful stuff that went on behind the scenes that enabled her to forgive in the way she did. We catch a glimpse of the pain but are not given a full picture of what that looked like.

Jesus has strong words, calling us to forgive from our heart. That as we receive forgiveness we are able to forgive. They go hand in hand.

In this message we go into more depth at Jesus' words that "unless we forgive from our hearts, our Father in heaven won't forgive us. Just what is Jesus saying here?

Let's look into it.
