Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space, online or in person, where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life and God.
The River is devoting every Sunday morning from April 18 to mid June so all of us, and our spiritually curious friends (as well as those who just want to educate themselves so they know what Christianity is really all about), can explore ALPHA together!
We will have break out groups for discussion, including one for just youth, so please let your age appropriate kids know!
Here are the dates:
April 18: Talk 1 (Is there more to life than this?)
April 25: Talk2 (Who is Jesus?)
May 2: Talk 3 (Why did Jesus Die?)
May 9: Talk 4 (How Can I Have Faith?)
May 16: Talk 5 (Why & How Do I Pray?)
May 23: Combine Talk 6 (Why & How Do I Read the Bible?) + Talk 7 (How Does God Guide Us?); they are both a bit shorter (25min. each) and fit well together
May 30: HS Weekend: Talk 8-12 / This could be a longer evening, 2-hours in an afternoon or morning, or spread out over 2-days. We will let you know once we have decided.

June 6 PM: Talk 15 (Does God Heal Today?) - longer evening to allow for prayer
