If you are new to the River we woul dlike to share with you how we like to roll.
In order to better accomodate fellowship and growth through this season of COVID, we have all the more embraced our Hybrid Simple Model.
That means we gather 1st & 3rd in Smaller Pods or Huddles. And the 2nd and 4th Sundays all together.
If you feel most comfortable with the traditional Sunday morning, nothing changes. You will gather via ZOOM every Sunday morning at 10 am. Nothing changes.
If you're interested to learn more about how the other Simple and Small Gatherings work please click on the link below.
Now, if you are new to the River and would like to login to our ZOOM meeting on Sunday, we would love to welcome you. In order to protect our people, we are asking everyone who wants to join us at The River for Sunday Worship, to please register beforehand so we can send you the link and know who's joining us ahead of time.
To request a weekly e-mail with the ZOOM link please contact Pastor Darcy at [email protected] or Kenda Reimer at [email protected] and we will make sure you are given the ZOOM link before the Sunday Worship Gathering begins.
The River Church will begin a new series this fall through the book of ACTS entitled The Spirit Unleashed: The work of Jesus through the Spirit in the Church. which will carry us through to the end of June through Spring and Summer entitled "Stories and Sermons from Within". We are excited to see what God has for us through this upcoming series.
Here's the times:
9:45 - 10:00 am / River Kids w/ parents and anyone else who wants to join along.
10:00 - 11:00 am the rest of the River Church will gather for teaching, prayer and worship. We will be recording the teaching segment and posting it on the website, so you can listen to it later, and process with the people you have chosen to bubble / huddle with this coming year. This can either be a group of 6-8 or a group of 2-3, you choose what would work best for you. We just encourage people to comit themselves to one group and stay with that group for the whole year.
11:00 - 11:30 am we will stay live for people to hang out and share and talk and encourage one another. If you need to leave at 11 am, that's fine, but if you want to stay, even just listen, you're welcome to do so.
If you can please keep your screen muted when you are not speaking, that way the feedback and background noise is minimized in everyone's computers. Thank you.
