The River Church will hold a Men's Retreat at the end of May, and we invite all men of The River to take part!
The retreat will take place at Camp Kawkawa in Hope, starting on the evening of Friday May 25th and ending shortly after lunch on Sunday May 27th. We will team up with a group of men from two other Alliance churches for various service projects, ranging from yard cleanup to landscaping to construction for a new cabin. And in the evenings we'd have free time for fellowship, just to ourselves.
The cost of this retreat is FREE, with all food and accommodation provided by Camp Kawkawa, in exchange for our service.
Warm cabins and showers will be provided, except for bedding and pillows, so please bring your sleeping bags and whatever you need to ensure a good night sleep.
I would also encourage you to bring your hiking shoes as there are some great hiking trails around the Camp such as the Othello Tunnels, part of the Kettle Valley Trail System.
