Overview
We have various people come and go but we are a core group of 3 couples with about 90 years in marriage, 9 kids, 2 grandkids and about 90 years walking in relationship with Jesus. We hope and pray that Jesus will use that experience to be a blessing to others of all ages and in various walks of life and look forward to drawing from others' experiences as well. We've also gotten to a good level of care and trust. It's a wonderful anchor, when the storms of life hit, knowing your brothers & sisters will hold you in prayer.
We meet together Sunday evenings alternating between the Neudorf's & the Carlin's. There are lots of hugs especially if Pat's there (visitors are asked first). Then we start off with dinner. If Grace is making dessert, we know we'll have some type of crisp (last week it was rhubarb! yum). After dinner ... well, last fall, we looked at Rob Bell's Velvet Elvis.Sometimes we sing. Peter loves to check up on how everyone is doing. Sometimes we each bring a song, a scripture that spoke to us, a short teaching, a God moment, an encouragement. We've also talked about issues and tried to encourage one another to live out our life in Jesus in the everyday. And we find time to prayerfully listen to whatever the Lord wants to tell us.
We love the variety and the freedom. We love seeing how God is working amongst us. We hope you will too!
